A Partner Referral ID is a unique URL that is printed on the back of the "marketing postcards" that students can distribute to neighbors, friends, local businesses and relatives. This special URL provides the way consumers can view more information on our website about Travel Planet Network's program and is the ONLY way your school will be credited for ANY referral commission when someone makes a purchase.
When you sign up, you will be able to pick any name you want for a Referral ID. This will then be displayed like: www.travelplanetnetwork.com/#yourschool-ID. However, we have learned that some people "could" visit our website directly WITHOUT adding your "REFERRAL ID" (/#yourschool-ID).
To make sure this won't happen, we highly advise your school to setup a special school page (i.e. www.yourschool.com/fundraising) and "forward it" to your Partner Referral URL when your school signs up. This insures your school will get credit for all referrals received when your students distribute the marketing postcards. Don't worry! We will help you every step of the way.
Also, please note, as stated in our Terms and Conditions, we are not responsible for any commission losses if you choose not to setup a special page and forward it as noted above.
When the visitor follows your referral link to our site, our Partner Tracking System (Post Affiliate Pro) registers your Referral ID and places "a cookie" on a visitors computer and stays active for 60 days from the first time they visited the site. When a supporter pays for one of the 3 travel savings access codes, our tracking system credits your account with the referral commission. This process is absolutely automatic. All your referrals will be properly tracked and available in your FREE Back-Office Dashboard, 24/7.
Note: If someone received information in the form of a digital ad, the FIRST individual will receive the referral commission regardless - up to 60 days.
The program we use is powered by Post Affiliate Pro (PAP), the leading affiliate (partner) tracking software. PAP uses a combination of cookies, along with IP addresses to track referrals for best possible reliability. When the visitor follows your Referral Link to our site, PAP registers this referral and places a cookie on the users computer that stays active for 60 days from the first time they visited the site. When the visitor pays for any one of the 3 Travel Saving Access Codes, PAP checks for the cookie, if not found, checks for the partners IP address and credits your account with the commission. This process is absolutely automatic. All your referrals will be properly tracked and you will be able to access the results of your efforts from either distributing postcards.
You will get paid twice a month. The only requirement is that each Partner has their own PayPal account. We do NOT send checks or do direct deposits.
We have designed postcards with an "ad-space". As a result, any local business can "sponsor" and purchase postcards for your school. When they do, we will include any ad message they choose that will be added on the back of the postcard. Postcards can be purchased directly from Travel Planet Network or we can provide the artwork and they can purchase from any printer they choose.
